Classes and enrollment2 min read
Terms and programs give your schedule its shape. A term is a date range, like "Fall 2026" or "Summer session", and every class runs within one. A program is something that sits alongside your weekly classes, like a summer camp or a workshop.
Terms live in Studio settings, on the Schedule setup tab, along with your rooms. Programs live in Classes, under Programs.
Add a term#
- Open Studio settings with the gear icon in the top bar.
- Choose the Schedule setup tab and find Terms.
- Enter a Name, plus the Start and End dates.
- Select Add term.
You can now pick this term when you add a class. Your classes' weekly meetings follow the term's dates.
Tip: Plan your next season by adding its term before the current one ends. Then you can set up next season's classes while this season is still running.
To remove a term you added by mistake, select Delete next to it. This can't be undone.
Add a program#
- Open Classes in the menu, then choose Programs.
- Select New program. It takes you to the Add program form at the bottom of the list.
- Choose a Kind: Weekly classes, Camp or Summer program.
- For weekly classes, choose the Term it belongs to. For a camp or summer program, set the First day and Last day.
- Enter a Program name and select Add program.
A new camp or summer program opens on its own page so you can finish setting it up.
You can also get here from the Classes list: open the arrow next to New class and choose Camp or program.
Set up a program#
Select a program's name to open it. On its page you can:
- Add Add-ons, extras families can pick at registration like lunch or early drop-off. Give each one a name and a price, and choose whether it's charged per day, per week or once. Then select Save add-ons.
- See the Enrollments: the students signed up for the program and the add-ons they chose.
- Select Withdraw next to a student to take them off the program from today. Weeks that haven't started yet are credited to the family's account.
Link classes to a program#
When you add or edit a class, you can choose a Program for it. If the class has no tuition plan of its own, choose Use the program's plan under Tuition plan.
Archive a program or room#
Select Archive next to a program (in Classes, under Programs) or a room (in Studio settings, on the Schedule setup tab) to take it off your lists. A room with upcoming classes can't be archived until those classes move to another room.
Who can do this#
Only owners and admins can add or change terms, programs and rooms. Front desk staff can withdraw students from a program.
