With Ads, you can create Facebook and Instagram ads for a class, a trial, a registration, or anything else, right from FrontRow. FrontRow drafts the ad for you and counts the enrollments, trials, and leads each ad brings in.

Only owners and admins can manage ads. If you don't see Ads in the menu, it isn't turned on for your studio yet.

Who pays for ads#

Ads run on your own ad account with Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), and Meta bills that account directly for what your ads spend. FrontRow never charges you for ad spend.

Connect your ad account#

You only need to do this once.

  1. Open Ads in the menu. On a computer it's under More in the top bar.
  2. In the Ad networks card, choose the connect button for Meta.
  3. Sign in to Facebook and allow FrontRow to manage your ads.
  4. Back in FrontRow, choose the ad account to use and choose Use this account.

If FrontRow can't find an ad account you manage, create one with Meta first, then connect again. If the card later shows Needs sign-in, choose Reconnect. Choosing Disconnect pauses your running ads, but keeps your ads and their results.

Create an ad#

  1. Choose Create ad, or Promote it on one of the Worth promoting suggestions.
  2. Pick what kind of ad it is: Class, Program, Registration, Trial classes, Tryouts, Website page, or Custom.
  3. Select what to promote, such as the class. For Tryouts and Custom, type the headline, details, and link yourself.
  4. Choose a Goal: Visits sends people to your sign-up page, and Leads lets them share their contact details in a form on Facebook or Instagram.
  5. Under Choose an image, choose From your images to use one from your website, or Generate image. Generated images show the setting, never people.
  6. Write your ad: choose Write it for me and pick a version, or type your own Headline, Main text, and Call to action.
  7. Set the Audience. Local families (recommended) reaches adults near your studio, or choose Custom audience to set the distance and ages. Ads never reach children.
  8. Under Budget & duration, enter a Daily budget, an optional Total cap, a Duration, and a Start date.
  9. Check the Ad preview for Instagram, Facebook, and Story.
  10. Choose Review & publish, check the summary, and choose Publish ad.

Not ready? Choose Save draft and finish later from the ads list.

Meta reviews each ad before it runs, which usually takes less than a day. While it waits, the ad shows In review.

Manage your ads#

The Ads page shows views, link clicks, spend, results, and cost per result, with a performance chart and your Top performing ads. Filter the list by status, such as Running, Paused, or Needs attention.

  • Use the switch in an ad's row to pause or resume it.
  • Open an ad to see its results day by day.
  • If Meta rejects an ad or it fails to publish, choose Edit to fix it and try again.
  • When an ad has finished, choose Run again as a new ad to reuse it.
  • Drafts and ads that never ran can be deleted.

Good to know: Results only count when someone registers, books a trial, or signs up through the ad's own link.
