Hand out costumes
Tick off costumes as you hand them out, and see which parents have confirmed their costume came home.

When costumes arrive, the distribution checklist helps you hand each one to the right student and keep track of what's gone home. Parents can confirm in the portal that they have it, so there's no guessing later.
Owners, admins and front desk staff can tick off costumes.
Open the checklist#
- Open Costumes in the menu.
- Select the costume's name on the Costumes tab.
- Select the Distribution checklist tab.
You'll see every student on a purchase order for this costume, with their family, size, and whether a parent has confirmed it. Costumes only appear here once they're on a purchase order.
Tick off a costume#
As you hand each costume over, tick the box in the Given column. Untick it if you made a mistake.
The badge at the top of the costume page shows how many have been handed out and how many parents have confirmed.
What parents see#
In the portal, each child's Costumes card on the Family page shows their costume, size and color, with its progress:
- Being ordered or Ordered: it's on its way.
- At the studio: it has arrived.
- Handed out: you've given it to them.
- Received: they've confirmed they have it.
Once you've handed a costume out, parents get a reminder on their portal home page asking if it came home. They select We got it to confirm, and the date shows in the checklist under the confirmed column.
Tip: Before the recital, look down the confirmed column for anyone showing Not yet and send those families a quick message.
