Show your teachers on your website
Add a photo and short bio for each teacher, then show them on your website with the Teachers block.

The Teachers block puts the people who teach your classes on your website, with a photo and name for each. You can also let visitors read a short bio. Add each teacher's photo and bio in your settings, then choose how the block shows them.
Photos come from your website's media library, so only people who can edit the website can pick one. Anyone who can manage the schedule can write a bio.
Add a photo and bio#
- Open Settings, then the Staff tab.
- Find the teacher in the Teachers list and select Add photo & bio. If the teacher already has a profile, the button says Edit website profile.
- Select Choose photo to pick an image from your website's media library, or upload a new one.
- Write a short bio. It can be up to 600 characters, and it's plain text, so formatting like bold or links won't show.
- Save your changes.
Tip: A bright, close-up photo of the teacher in class works better than a formal portrait.
Add the Teachers block to a page#
- Open Website in the menu, then the Pages tab, and select Edit next to the page.
- In the left panel, open Blocks, then Studio, and add Teachers.
The block lists teachers who teach a public class in a current or upcoming term. Each teacher shows with their photo, or their initials if they don't have one yet, and their name. A teacher with no public classes doesn't appear.
Choose how bios show#
Select the Teachers block, then change the Bios setting in the panel on the right:
- Hidden: only photos and names show.
- On click: visitors select a teacher's card to read the bio in a pop-up.
- Always: the bio shows under each name.
If you started from a template, the Teachers block on the About page is set to On click, and the one on the home page is set to Hidden. You can change either.
Change or remove a photo#
To swap a photo, open the teacher's profile as above and choose another. To remove it, select Remove and save. The teacher then shows with initials.
An image that's in use as a teacher's photo can't be deleted from the media library. Remove it from the teacher first, then delete it. See Photos and the media library.
What visitors can see#
Teacher photos and bios are public on your website, so only write what you're happy for anyone to read. A teacher's email address and phone number are never shown.
