Reports shows how your studio is doing over time: enrollments, revenue, attendance, messages, and more. Pick a date range, look through the tabs, and download any report as a spreadsheet.

Only owners and admins can see Reports.

Open reports and pick dates#

  1. Open Reports in the menu. On a computer it's under More in the top bar.
  2. Choose the date button at the top right and pick This month, Last month, Last 3 months, Last 6 months, or This year.

Most numbers compare against the period before, so you can see whether things are going up or down.

What each tab shows#

  • Overview: the big picture. Cards for Total students, New enrollments, Total revenue, and Attendance rate, plus enrollment trends, a Revenue overview, class attendance, students by age group, enrollment by style, your top classes, and Recent activity.
  • Enrollments: classes ranked by enrollment. Switch between By class, which shows each class with how many are enrolled, its capacity and how full it is, and By teacher, which shows enrollment for each teacher's classes.
  • Attendance: your attendance rate, sessions marked, and attendance by class and by student.
  • Communication: messages sent, delivery rate, replies, and opt-outs, by month and channel.
  • Financials: your collection numbers (see Track collection), Revenue by collection date, which lists money collected and refunded each day, and Aging balances, which shows open balances by how overdue they are.

Store sales are on the Orders page in Store, and ticket sales are on the Shows page in Events.

Good to know: In the Revenue overview card, the chart shows money collected, while the list beside it shows what was billed, split by type, like tuition and registration fees. Use the card's own menu to show Last 6 months, Last 12 months, This year, or Selected dates. Under the chart, Scheduled for the next 30 days shows the recurring tuition and fees due to come in over the next month.

Follow up on missed classes#

The Attendance tab has a Follow up list of students who missed their latest 2 or more classes in a row. This looks at each student's most recent classes, whatever date range you picked. It's a good list to call or message this week.

In attendance rates, present and late both count as attended, and excused absences are left out.

Download a report#

  1. Set the date range you want.
  2. Choose Export report.
  3. Pick a report, such as Enrollment by class, Revenue by collection date, Withdrawals, Attendance by student, Aging balances, or Store sales.

The report downloads as a spreadsheet file (CSV) that opens in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets.

Why does a report look empty?#

  • Attendance fills in once teachers take attendance.
  • Communication counts messages once they're sent.
  • Store sales appear once you make sales in your store.

If you just started with FrontRow, try a wider date range or check back after your first few weeks.
