Erase a family's personal data
Permanently remove a family's personal details when they ask you to delete their data.

If a family asks you to delete their information, you can erase their personal data from FrontRow. Their payment history is kept, because you need it for your financial records, but everything that identifies them is removed.
If a family is simply leaving the studio, you don't need to do this. Mark them inactive instead (see Edit family details).
What gets erased#
- Names, emails, phone numbers and addresses
- Birth dates, medical notes and measurements
- Messages and conversations
- Saved cards and bank accounts (autopay turns off)
- Portal logins and signed policies
What's kept#
- Their charges, payments and refunds, which you need to keep for your records
- Records that they opted out of messages, without any personal details
- The family itself, archived and renamed "Erased family"
Erase a family's data#
- Open the family's page (from Students, choose View Profile).
- Select the three dots button at the top right of the page.
- Choose Erase family data….
- Read the summary. Type the family's name exactly as shown to confirm.
- Select Erase permanently.
Before you erase#
- If they owe money, FrontRow warns you. The amount stays on their account, but you won't have their contact details to collect it.
- If they have credit, refund it first if you owe it back. See Refund a payment.
Can I undo it?#
No. Erasing is permanent and can't be undone. If you're not sure, mark the family inactive instead.
Who can do this#
Only the studio owner can erase a family's data. Other staff don't see this option.
